Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced LPN/RN Unit Manager to help lead our nursing team in providing exceptional patient care. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of nursing practices and the ability to manage a diverse team while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA. Conduct regular assessments of patient care quality and implement improvements as needed. Facilitate training and development programs for nursing staff to enhance skills and knowledge. Maintain accurate medical documentation and oversee the management of medical records. Participate in utilization review processes to optimize resource allocation and patient outcomes. Address patient concerns and complaints promptly, fostering a culture of safety and quality. Experience Candidates should have a robust background in various nursing specialties, including but not limited to: Long-term care experience (nursing home, assisted living) Dialysis, IV infusion, catheterization, phlebotomy Experience with EMR systems (PCC) Experience in skilled nursing Knowledge of geriatrics and behavioral health Supervisory experience within a healthcare environment The ideal candidate will also demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, infection control practices, and basic life support.
