About the Role Our Nurse Manager positions provide hands-on leadership while supporting a culture of accountability, compassion, and excellence. You'll work closely with the DON, Administrator, and interdisciplinary team to stabilize operations, improve outcomes, and deliver consistent, high-quality care— every resident, every day . What You'll Do Lead with Core Values Model grit with grace when leading through challenges. Build strong connections with residents, families, and staff—true relationship rockstars . Support a culture where staff feel valued, guided, and empowered. Clinical Leadership Oversee daily nursing operations on your assigned hall or specialty area. Ensure assessments, treatments, documentation, and follow-up are completed timely and accurately. Participate in care planning, QAPI, root cause work, and survey readiness. Support risk-based decision-making and encourage risk & recovery learning moments. Team Coaching & Development Mentor CNAs, LPNs, and RNs with honesty, clarity, and front porch truth . Participate in education, competencies, onboarding, and performance support. Help build stable, confident teams that take pride in their work. Quality & Compliance Maintain compliance with CMS, PDPM, Quality Measures, andNC DHHSR
requirements. Ensure documentation in PCC is thorough, accurate, and survey-ready. Monitor wound care, psychotropics, infections, falls, and other clinical systems. What We're Looking For Licensed RN or LPN in NC (RN strongly preferred for some roles). SNF experience required; leadership experience preferred. Strong communication, clinical judgment, and the ability to lead with calm, clarity, and courage. Experience with PCC, PDPM, and care planning is a bonus. Why Join Ascent?
