Job Description

Job Summary:
Lead, manage, and coordinate daily operations of department in collaboration with the Integrated Pain Manager and Director of Operations. Oversees training of clinic employees and participates in staff development. In collaboration with department leadership, manages daily staffing and department assignments, schedules, and PTO requests. Co-manage complex patient needs in partnership with Manager and Director of Operations. Serves as backup in absence of Integrated Pain Manager. Serves in staffing. Assists with development of performance improvement activities for the department. Proficient with electronic health records and Microsoft 365 Suite.
Qualifications:
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in NC (NC licensure or multi-state [compact] license). Five years of experience as an RN strongly preferred. Two years of outpatient Interventional Pain Management nursing experience preferred. BSN preferred. Thorough knowledge of leadership/management theories and applications. Positive and effective interpersonal skills. Ability to deal tactfully with staff, patients, physicians, ancillary professionals, and families required. Knowledge of motivation skills and group dynamics to affect change and achieve positive results required. BLS required. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
