Director, Serious Illness Care Nurse Practitioner Team

The Director evaluates and coordinates patient and caregiver needs to enable the delivery of high-quality palliative care. Full-time positions offer an excellent benefit package with paid time off and mileage reimbursement.

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a master's degree in nursing and appropriate advanced training required for licensure as a registered nurse practitioner.

Experience:

A minimum of five to ten years of nursing experience is preferred. Palliative Care and Hospice experience preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position supervises Serious Illness Care Nurse Practitioners. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
