Duties Lead and supervise nursing staff, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere focused on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Oversee patient assessments, vital signs, and clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations. Coordinate care plans for patients with complex needs, including those requiring Alzheimer's care, memory care, or hospice services. Manage medication administration, IV infusions, catheterizations, and wound care following strict protocols and safety standards. Ensure adherence to HIPAA privacy policies and maintain the confidentiality of all medical records and sensitive information. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate discharge planning, case management, and diagnostic evaluations. Utilize EMR/EHR systems such as Point Click Care to document patient progress accurately and efficiently. Skills Proven experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring acute or chronic care. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding (ICD-9/10) for accurate documentation and billing processes. Skilled in administering injections, performing venipuncture, catheter care, and sterile techniques aligned with aseptic procedures. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Point Click Care for efficient medical records management. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages—and coordinate with caregivers for comprehensive care delivery.
