Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our CUMC-Bergan Neurosurgery clinic, you'll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team. You'll take the lead on proactive preparation of patient charts; ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility. Every day, you'll manage care for multiple patients, adapting to physician availability on-site, and actively collaborate with your clinical team to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic. Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others, work efficiently, and your empathy for our patients. Performs general nursing care to patients by following established clinic workflows and be able to complete all duties of LPN-Clinic. Manage daily clinical and administrative support services for the assigned clinic under the supervision of the clinic manager. Manage clinic inventory and organization of supplies and sample medications. Manage lab operations, resulting and reporting, within the assigned clinic. Develop and participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities. Manage the resolution and implementation of decisions/improvements as requested.
Job Requirements Required:
Other Graduate of accredited school of practical nursingLicensed Practical Nurse:
NE Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association 3-5 years of practical nursing experience in a clinic or acute hospital setting 1-2 years of lead/supervisory level experience strongly preferredBenefits
