RN Unit Manager - Skilled Rehabilitation Full-Time | First Shift | $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Mount Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center | Manchester, NH Mount Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with nursing management experience to serve as Unit Manager for our fourth-floor Skilled Rehabilitation Unit. This position oversees daily unit operations, supervises nursing staff, and coordinates resident care. Long-term care experience is preferred. Schedule and Coverage Full-time, 40 hours per week.
First shift:
8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Participation in the nursing on-call rotation, with on-call pay. Manager on Duty (MOD) weekend coverage. $5,000 sign-on bonus. Responsibilities Coordinate day-to-day operations and maintain 24-hour oversight of care on the assigned unit. Supervise Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs), and Licensed Medication Nursing Assistants (LMNAs). Assess, plan, implement, and monitor resident care to ensure individual care needs are met. Monitor the quality of nursing care and ensure care and documentation comply with applicable state and federal regulations. Ensure physician orders are followed and medication and treatment schedules are maintained. Monitor the accuracy of Minimum Data Set (MDS) documentation. Maintain resident confidentiality and ensure compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Collaborate with other departments to coordinate resident care. Assist the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and work under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON). Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the New Hampshire Board of Nursing. Nursing management experience. Ability to maintain an active RN license in good standing throughout employment. Preferred Qualification Experience in long-term care.
