Position Overview Rhonda Care is seeking a Program Manager or Supervisor - Medication Trainer & Practicum Evaluator to join our team on a PRN/as-needed basis . This position will initially focus on medication training, staff competency, and medication practicum evaluations for Rhonda Care's Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, strong medication knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to train and evaluate DSPs. This is an opportunity for a professional who wants to grow with Rhonda Care . As the agency expands, additional leadership, program, training, quality assurance, and supervisory responsibilities may become available based on the individual's qualifications, experience, performance, and agency needs. Key Responsibilities Provide medication-related training to Rhonda Care DSPs. Conduct medication competency assessments and practicum evaluations in accordance with applicable NJ DDD requirements. Evaluate DSPs' medication administration skills and competency. Provide coaching, feedback, and additional training when needed. Maintain accurate medication training and competency documentation. Ensure required training records are completed and maintained. Support Rhonda Care's compliance with applicable NJ DDD requirements. Communicate with agency leadership regarding staff training and competency. Promote safe, person-centered support for individuals receiving services. Maintain confidentiality and follow Rhonda Care policies and procedures. Participate in additional leadership and program responsibilities as the agency grows. QualificationsRequired Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD). Experience with medication administration and medication-related procedures. Experience in a professional healthcare, human services, DDD, IDD, residential, or community-based setting. Ability to meet applicable NJ DDD requirements for a Medication Practicum Evaluator. Strong communication, organization, documentation, and professional judgment. Ability to work independently and responsibly in a PRN role. Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Rhonda Care's service area as needed. Preferred 3+ years of experience working in DDD/IDD services. Previous supervisory, program management, or leadership experience. Previous experience training or evaluating Direct Support Professionals. Experience working in a NJ DDD residential or community-based program. Experience providing medication training or conducting medication competency evaluations. Completion of requiredCDS/NJ DDD
