The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.Job Overview:
The Quality Manager is an RN who will oversee the Behavioral Health programming at TRMC, including Behavioral Health improvement programs spanning both the inpatient and outpatient settings. These programs are framed according to ACS quality standards, amongst other governing bodies. This individual works in close collaboration with the Behavioral Health leadership teams, and under the direction of the Vice President. The Manager will work in tandem with key stakeholders to provide quality review of all cases and to identify opportunities for improvement. Qualifications A licensed RN in the State of New Jersey or an approved compact license is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required. Master's preferred. A minimum of five (5) years experience in clinical, management, or related experience is required. A minimum of three (3) years experience in acute care nursing is required. Behavioral Health and/or previous leadership experience is preferred. The ability to organize, manage, coordinate, and communicate effectively, as well as develop and maintain effective interpersonal relationships is expected. Successful completion of all required orientation programs is required. Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions):Full-Time, Days Essential Functions:
Serves as a liaison between the RWJBarnabas Health System, TRMC and the employees, patients, family members, caregivers and visitors that we serve. Assists Quality Leadership in supporting the coordination efforts for our quality programs, high reliability journey, safety behaviors, and patient experience. Oversee and manage various quality, safety, and patient experience systems currently in place and utilized on a daily basis, such as Verge. Supports the development and implementation of a strategic plan for quality, patient safety, and patient experience initiatives that coincides with the RWJBarnabas mission and vision. Oversee the incident reporting system and ensure events are completed at the appropriate turnaround time as needed asper our policies and procedures. Work in synergy with all other performance improvement programs and organizational goals, in order to support continuous improvement in all service initiatives. Proactively assesses quality and safety performance as it relates to publicly reported metrics and CMS stars (e.g., PSIs, HACs). Analyze all data available to us, such as HCAHPS, Verge Data, Comment reports, etc. to make the necessary changes in the evolving healthcare industry and adjust to the trends. Plans and conducts meetings with department leaders to review trends and strategies to improve quality, safety, and the patient and employee experience. Seeks feedback and recommendations from others to improve quality, processes and services. Strategize with personnel at all levels to develop and coordinate quality, patient safety, and experience programs.RWJ Benefits:
