Join Our Nursing Leadership Team Betty Dare Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Manager (RN or LPN) to join our nursing leadership team. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on nurse leader with long-term care or skilled nursing experience who is passionate about resident care, developing staff, and maintaining strong clinical standards. The Nurse Manager will work closely with the Director of Nursing and facility leadership to provide day-to-day clinical oversight, support the nursing team, and help ensure our residents receive high-quality, compassionate care. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff Conduct routine clinical rounds and monitor resident care Monitor changes in resident condition and ensure appropriate assessment, documentation, provider notification, and follow-up Review nursing documentation for accuracy and completeness Participate in daily clinical meetings and interdisciplinary care planning Monitor physician orders, medications, treatments, labs, and clinical follow-up Assist with management of falls, wounds, infections, hospital transfers, and other high-risk clinical areas Provide education, coaching, and accountability to nursing staff Assist with staff competencies and clinical education Participate in incident investigations and ensure appropriate interventions and follow-up Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives Maintain ongoing survey readiness and assist with regulatory surveys as needed Ensure nursing practices remain consistent with facility policies and applicable regulatory requirements Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team Work collaboratively with the Director of Nursing to improve clinical systems and resident outcomes Serve as a visible nursing leadership presence throughout the facility Qualifications Current RN or LPN license in good standing Long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred Previous experience as a Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, Nurse Supervisor, ADON, or similar leadership role preferred Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey expectations preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to coach and support employees while maintaining accountability Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Dependable, professional, and committed to providing excellent resident care What We're Looking For Our ideal Nurse Manager is a visible, hands-on leader who understands the unique demands of long-term care.
