We are seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Services (DCS) to provide leadership and oversight of our hospice clinical operations. This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced RN who understands hospice operations, regulatory compliance, clinical team development, and the responsibility that comes with ensuring exceptional end-of-life care. Position Summary The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for the overall direction and oversight of hospice clinical services and reports directly to the Executive Director. The DCS establishes, implements, and evaluates clinical goals and processes that promote quality, regulatory compliance, operational effectiveness, and excellent patient and family care. This position provides leadership to clinical supervisors and staff and works closely with the Executive Director, Medical Director, and interdisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities The Director of Clinical Services will: Provide overall leadership and oversight of direct and indirect clinical services. Ensure safe, appropriate, high-quality hospice care across the organization. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to clinical supervisors and clinical staff. Oversee clinical staffing, scheduling needs, workload, and resource utilization in response to census and patient acuity. Participate in hiring, orientation, evaluation, performance management, and development of clinical personnel. Support clinical teams with patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation as needed. Monitor clinical documentation and ensure patient records meet organizational, state, federal, Medicare, and accreditation requirements. Maintain oversight of clinical records, reports, statistics, supplies, and equipment necessary for patient care. Develop and oversee clinical orientation, competency, in-service, and continuing education programs. Participate in QAPI and performance-improvement activities and use clinical and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement. Develop, recommend, implement, and monitor clinical policies and procedures. Maintain clinical readiness and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable federal and state requirements and CHAP accreditation standards. Remain current on changes in nursing practice, hospice care, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, staffing, organizational goals, and operational planning. Promote strong interdisciplinary collaboration and effective communication throughout the organization. Support positive relationships with physicians, referral partners, patients, families, and the healthcare community. Perform additional leadership responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director.

Qualifications Required:

Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nevada Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel Strong clinical judgment, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance

Strongly Preferred:
