Memory Care Unit Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Unit Manager at Bridgewater Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. As a leader on our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care to our residents, while also fostering a positive and supportive work environment for our staff.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Resident Unit, ensuring that all residents receive exceptional care and services Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide the highest level of care Monitor and evaluate the unit's quality of care, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as necessary Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions and communication
Requirements:
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license Minimum 0 years of experience, with preference given to candidates with prior experience in a long-term care setting Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations Excellent clinical skills and knowledge, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and promoting a positive work environment
