Job Description
Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) - Garden Care Center Garden Care Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team. We are a 5-Star CMS-rated skilled nursing facility committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our residents. We are looking for a strong clinical leader who can supervise nursing staff, promote excellent resident care, and ensure that our nursing department operates safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all applicable regulations. Pay $60.00 - $63.00 per hour Why Join Garden Care Center? 5-Star CMS-rated facility Supportive and professional management team Leadership role with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact Collaborative nursing and interdisciplinary team Opportunities for professional growth Paid time off Professional and respectful work environment RN Supervisor Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care Provide clinical leadership and support to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs Monitor resident care, assessments, documentation, and changes in condition Ensure medications and treatments are administered safely and according to physician orders Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in resident condition Communicate with physicians, families, and members of the interdisciplinary team Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the facility's electronic medical record Monitor compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and NYS and federal regulations Assist with care planning, discharge planning, and coordination of resident services Address staffing, clinical, and resident-care concerns during the shift Provide guidance, education, and support to nursing staff Promote resident dignity, safety, and quality of life Participate in investigations, incident follow-up, and quality improvement activities as needed Serve as a nursing leader and role model for the staff Qualifications Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license Previous nursing supervisory or leadership experience preferred Long-term care/skilled nursing experience strongly preferred Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills Knowledge of nursing standards, infection control, and long-term care regulations Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to effectively supervise and motivate nursing staff Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team Current BLS certification preferred Strong documentation and electronic medical record skills The Ideal Candidate We are looking for an RN who is dependable, clinically strong, organized, and comfortable taking a leadership role .
