Responsibilities include:
Administering medications and treatments according to physician orders Following the Six Rights of Medication Administration Documenting accurately in MAR/TAR in real time Monitoring symptoms and reporting adverse reactions or refusals Conducting Service & Health Updates (SHUs) Transcribing physician orders and supporting care plan updates Observing and reporting physical, emotional, or cognitive changes Maintaining medication carts, completing narcotic counts, and ensuring compliance The role is vital in preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through clinical precision and adherence to regulations.Requirements include:
Active LPN license in good standing CPR and First Aid certification Strong assessment and documentation skills Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred Compensation ranges from $32.00 to $46.15 per hour.
