Location:
Mount Sinai Morningside, 1111 Amsterdam Avenue, New York, NY 10025 The Nursing Informatics Manager is responsible for clinical information retrieval to support quality initiatives including core measures and meeting regulatory requirements for Joint Commission and Department of Health and performance improvement initiatives to improve clinical efficiency and patient safety. The Nursing Informatics Manager functions in a key role as liaison between the clinical and information technology departments.- Qualifications
- Education Requirements
- + Master's degree in Nursing Informatics or equivalent experience and education is preferred
- Experience Requirements
- + 5 years experience in Information Technology/Computer Science and/or clinical healthcare discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience + Working knowledge of current/evolving patient care delivery models and challenges and hospital operations with an appreciation for information systems theory and design + Expertise in clinical care of patients, medical center operations, and clinical informatics.
