$103,000 - $160,000 per year Job Details - Nursing Leadership opportunity is seeking a strategic, forward thinking, and motivated Registered Nurse with leadership experience to join as our next Nurse Manager in the OR! Requiring BSN degree and 3 to 5 years RN leadership experience as an Assistant Nurse Manager As the Nurse Manager you will provide overall clinical and operational management Monday Thru Friday regular business hours 7 am to 330 pm. Position will be Monday thru Friday to start then after 6 months on the job, Rn can transition to a 4(10) work week You will hold responsibility for the management of human, material and fiscal resources to ensure the delivery of safe, quality, and patient-focused care in the unit or service line.
Operational Management:
Manages the clinical and environmental operations of the unit or service line Develops, implements, and evaluates systems to support quality and safe patient care Develops staff schedules and peak census plans and communicates those to the staffing office Review patient surveys and feedback and creates action plans to address patient satisfaction issues Makes staffing decisions and adjustments on a shift-by-shift basis in collaboration with the Assistant Nurse Manager, Nursing Supervisor, and Nursing Director as needed Responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the annual budget Develops and implements action plans in response to variances Oversees the pay practices of staff and the systems that support payroll and benefits
Management, Leadership, and Development of Staff:
Demonstrates principles of evidence-based leadership Manages all aspects of the staff to include hiring, supervising, counseling, professional development, discipline, and competency/performance evaluation, including clinical evaluations of nursing staff with matrix relationships Coordinates the orientation process of new staff in collaboration with the educator/CNS Develops staff and facilitates learning opportunities that meet staff and unit/service line needs Serve as a clinical resource and acts as a role model and mentor Develops the agenda and conduct monthly staff meetings Oversees the work of the unit-based council and acts as council advisor Ensures clinical staff are part of the Nursing Shared Leadership council structure Conducts timely performance evaluations A bit about us: - We are a leading regional healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care to our community.
