Summary:
Responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing the daily clinical operations and clinical staffing for the satellite cardiology campuses (White Pond, Barberton, Wadsworth, Cuyahoga Falls, Medina and Green). Partners with, supervises and leads RN Clinical Coordinators across all cardiology campuses to support clinical staff oversight, ensure clinical excellence, and drive quality and performance outcomes. Provides direct supervision and leadership to RN Clinical Coordinators, Registered Nurses, and Medical Assistants, while promoting evidence-based nursing practice, regulatory and department compliance, and continuous quality improvement. Performs functions of a Registered Nurse in the clinical setting. Provides coverage for Manager. Acts as a clinical expert, frontline leader and serves as a key liaison between RN Coordinators, clinical staff (RN, LPN, MA), and leadership, ensuring efficient clinic operations, clear communication, and alignment with organizational goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
1.
Formal Education Required:
a. Graduate of a program of professional nursing that is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) b. Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, Associate's Degree (ADN) with combined experience will be considered. c. Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio d. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) e. Advances Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) 2.
Experience and Training Required:
a. Five (5) years previous nursing experience in Cardiology b. Three (3) years leadership, supervisory or management experience preferred c. Demonstrates superior knowledge/expertise in their area of specialization 3.

a. Maintains competent nursing skills level to ensure provision of safe quality patient care b. Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills c. Advanced clinical knowledge in cardiology care d. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities e. Effective communication and interpersonal skills f. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment g. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems including Epic h.
