Job Description

Job Summary - The Nurse Manager provides department level operational leadership and frontline staff management within the hospital environment to maintain standards of patient care. Responsible for implementing all nursing services in compliance with current local, state and federal standards and regulations. Monitors the quality of patient care and services and makes recommendations and/or adjustments as needed. Regulatory Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, baccalaureate degree preferred. Current State Nursing License in the State of Ohio. Current BLS certification required. ACLS within 1 year Minimum of three years experience in nursing. Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged Preferred Skills Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent computer knowledge. Ability to operate office equipment.
