This is a driving position delivering care to patients living in facilities and homes within the Dayton/Trotwood area As a Hospice RN you will plan and deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, interventions, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interact with patients, families and other interdisciplinary team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing. We provide superior care and superior services to patients at their end-of-life journey. Only those who have a heart for hospice will succeed.
Hospice RN Qualifications:
RN's - Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio without any board actions. Two years of acute care nursing experience preferred. CPR Certified Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPN) preferred; required within two years of employment. (Eligible upon completion of 500 hours in last 12 months of hospice/palliative experience.) Computer skills are sufficient to properly document services and care. Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather. Valid Driver's License withSafe Driving Record State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage What We Offer:
