Job Description

Position Overview Title:
Manager of Nursing (Full-time)
Compensation:
$75,000+ per year (based on experience)
Location:
Riveon Crisis Recovery Center, Lorain OH Purpose & Objectives Promote overall physical and mental health of clients using a Trauma-Informed Care approach. Provide operational leadership, scheduling, and guidance for all CRC staff and assigned agency programs. Ensure operations meet the organization's Strategic Plan, internal policies, and standards from accrediting, licensing, and payor bodies.
Key Job Functions Staffing & Scheduling:
Coordinate CRC staff schedules, manage coverage issues (call-offs, vacations, changes), and maintain human resource responsibilities (recruiting, hiring, discipline, evaluations, productivity).
Clinical Collaboration:
Act as part of the clinical leadership team; confer with case managers, counselors, prescribers, and clinical supervisors regarding client care.
Program Development:
Assist in writing policies/procedures, assess community needs, establish community linkages, and recommend staffing structures alongside the Director of Nursing and Director of Crisis Services.
Quality & Training:
Participate in quality improvement plans, conduct staff training/development, and maintain thorough service documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications Licensure:
Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Education & Experience:
BSN or higher preferred; prior supervisory/leadership experience and experience with severely mentally disabled (SMD) clients preferred.
Skills:
Windows & Word proficiency; bilingual (Spanish/English) and trauma-informed/trauma-specific training are a plus.
Travel & Physical:
