Job Description
OhioHealth is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager for Critical Care at Mansfield Hospital. In this leadership role, you will oversee daily ICU operations, ensuring safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care for high-acuity patients. You will supervise and develop nursing staff, manage staffing and budgets, and drive quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, you will implement protocols, lead performance improvement, support staff education, and foster an inclusive culture aligned with OhioHealth's mission and community-focused values. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the critical care unit to ensure safe, high-quality patient care Supervise, schedule, and mentor critical care nursing staff Develop and implement clinical protocols, policies, and quality improvement initiatives Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans Monitor clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance Manage unit budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocation Lead staff education, competency validation, and performance evaluations Support accreditation, safety, and infection control standards Participate in strategic planning and change management for critical care services Foster a culture of compassion, inclusivity, and continuous improvement Required Skills Critical care nursing Nurse leadership and management Staff scheduling and supervision Clinical protocol development Quality improvement and patient safety Budgeting and resource management Interdisciplinary care coordination Regulatory and accreditation compliance Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Data analysis and clinical outcomes monitoring
