Job Description
Charge Nurse
- 3 weekends per month
- full time day shift

- Mercy hospita l is seeking an experienced behavioral health Charge Nurse to join the team in Ada, OK.
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for psychiatric patients. Monitor and document patient progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions. Provide patient and family education to support understanding of treatment plans and recovery goals. Promote safety by implementing de-escalation strategies, crisis intervention, and adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with physicians, social workers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care. Oversee nursing staff Why Mercy? Qualifications:
Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Active RN license Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. One or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe:- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support
