Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision and support to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to care plans and safety protocols Coordinate patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation with precision and clarity Oversee medication administration, including injections and IV infusions, following strict protocols and HIPAA confidentiality policies Manage patient flow through triage, intake, discharge planning, and documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients with complex needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or developmental disabilities Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, infection control standards, and safety procedures in skilled nursing or assisted living settings Lead emergency response efforts including airway management, acute pain management, or trauma situations in accordance with Level I or Level II trauma center experience if applicable Requirements Valid RN or LPN license with current state licensure and certification in basic life support (BLS) and CPR Demonstrated experience working with geriatric patients, memory care, or dementia care environments Strong clinical knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and medical-surgical nursing practices Experience utilizing EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for documentation and patient management Proven ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining excellent patient care standards in settings like hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, or assisted living communities Skilled in patient assessment techniques including vital signs collection, specimen collection/processing, catheterization, tube feeding, and sterile procedures Knowledge of infection control practices and long-term care regulations to ensure compliance across all operations Ability to handle high-pressure situations involving acute care needs such as ventilator management or ICU scenarios; experience in emergency medicine preferred Excellent communication skills for caregiver communication, client interaction, and interdisciplinary collaboration Join us in delivering exceptional senior care by combining your clinical expertise with energetic leadership.
