Charge Nurse

POSITION OPENING IS

7p-7a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and alternating Saturday $7500.00 Sign-On Bonus!!!

Duties:

• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
• Ensure adherence to established standards of care and protocols
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and response to treatment
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Oversee the coordination of patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records using the Cerner system
• Assist in the training and orientation of new nursing staff members
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control measures
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as needed

Skills:

• Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in a variety of areas, including infant care, toddler care, behavioral health, neonatal ventilator support, alimentation, gastric lavage, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Proficient in using electronic medical record systems such as Cerner
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
