Job Description
Charge Nurse
POSITION OPENING IS
7p-7a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and alternating Saturday $7500.00 Sign-On Bonus!!!Duties:
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
- Ensure adherence to established standards of care and protocols
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and response to treatment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Oversee the coordination of patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records using the Cerner system
- Assist in the training and orientation of new nursing staff members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control measures
- Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as needed
Skills:
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in a variety of areas, including infant care, toddler care, behavioral health, neonatal ventilator support, alimentation, gastric lavage, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems such as Cerner
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of coding practices and documentation requirements for accurate billing We are seeking a highly skilled Charge Nurse who is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
