Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Resident Care Director, where you will aid in the delivery of exceptional resident care by ensuring the appropriate management of all resident medications, staff education and growth, and care delivery. This vital role combines clinical knowledge with strong leadership to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, uphold residents' rights, and foster a compassionate environment. As a Resident Care Director, you will be one of the driving forces behind quality care management staff supervision, and operational excellence, creating a warm and safe community for our residents to thrive. Responsibilities Lead and supervise nursing staff and care teams to deliver personalized, high-quality resident care aligned with care plans and regulatory requirements. Oversee the implementation of all physician orders, ensure medication ordering and availability, and provide staff education as necessary to meet individual needs and comply with federal and state regulations. Manage documentation review processes including medical records, medical terminology entries, and regulatory compliance reports to maintain accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards. Ensure adherence to long-term care regulations, Medicare guidelines, and other applicable regulatory standards while fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to monitor resident progress, address concerns related to resident diagnosis and/or conditions and optimize patient outcomes through effective management of EMR/EHR systems. Supervise shift management activities, including staffing schedules, ensuring adequate clinical management coverage during all hours. Promote a positive work environment by providing administrative clinical leadership, development opportunities, and fostering teamwork among care facility staff. Skills Assisted living experience combined with nursing home or long-term care facility background. Strong knowledge of resident's rights, care regulations, Medicare policies, and HIPAA compliance. Proficiency in EMR systems (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR systems (Electronic Health Records) for accurate documentation review and patient care tracking. Ability to lead with compassion while maintaining high standards of medical records accuracy and documentation review. Excellent leadership skills paired with strong communication abilities to manage interdisciplinary teams and foster a collaborative environment. Pay:
