The Assistant Director of Clinical Services works under the Director to provide overall direction to the hospice clinical team. They are responsible for hiring of qualified hospice personnel: the provision of hospice services, directly, and the delegation to and coordination of hospice personnel evaluations; and establishing standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations and guide­lines. The duties include but are not limited to: Implement policies, procedures, and best practices for operations. Monitoring nursing staff performance and addressing any QA issues Clinical policy and procedure support Assisting the Director in identifying & resolving nursing department deficiencies Monitoring implementation of correction plans Qualifications Strong, results-driven leader with excellent organizational, strategic, analytical, and project management skills. Exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others. 5+ years of healthcare experience preferred , with hospice experience strongly preferred. 2+ years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state(s) of practice.
