Job Description
Senior living company is seeking an experienced Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical oversight and support for a senior living community in the Portland area. This position is designed as a part-time clinical oversight role. The RN will work closely with an LPN who will assist with nursing assessments, routine clinical tasks, resident follow-up, and day-to-day nursing responsibilities. The RN will focus on clinical oversight, delegation, regulatory compliance, staff training, and ensuring high standards of resident care. RN Responsibilities Provide overall clinical oversight and guidance. Delegate nursing tasks in accordance with Oregon rules and regulations. Train and oversee unlicensed staff performing delegated nursing tasks. Provide oversight and support to the LPN completing nursing assessments and routine clinical responsibilities. Review resident changes in condition and provide clinical direction as needed. Establish and oversee treatment and care plans. Communicate with physicians, Home Health, Hospice, and other healthcare providers. Monitor clinical documentation and resident records. Support regulatory compliance and quality assurance. Provide clinical guidance to residents, families, and community staff. Qualifications Current Oregon Registered Nurse license. Previous long-term care, assisted living, or senior living experience preferred. Strong knowledge of nursing delegation and clinical oversight. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to effectively lead and support LPNs and unlicensed staff. Ability to work independently in a part-time clinical leadership role.
