•Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead and coordinate nursing care within our healthcare facility. This vital role involves overseeing clinical operations, supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and delivering exceptional patient care across diverse settings. Duties Supervise and manage nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to nursing policies and procedures Coordinate daily clinical operations across departments such as medical-surgical, critical care, geriatrics, behavioral health, or pediatric units Conduct patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physical examinations to inform treatment plans Oversee medication administration, IV infusion procedures, catheter care, tube feeding, and wound suturing with precision and safety Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, state healthcare laws, long-term care regulations, and NCQA standards for quality assurance Facilitate discharge planning, case management, and utilization review processes to optimize patient outcomes and resource utilization Maintain accurate medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Cerner or Epic; ensure proper
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding for billing and recordkeeping Lead infection control initiatives, sterile processing protocols, and aseptic techniques to uphold safety standards Manage care facility teams through effective communication, staff scheduling, training initiatives, and performance evaluations Requirements Valid RN license with current state registration; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred Proven supervisory experience in a healthcare setting; prior management of nursing teams required Extensive clinical experience in areas such as ICU (Intensive Care Unit), emergency medicine, hospital medicine, or critical & intensive care environments Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or Athenahealth; proficiency in medical documentation and ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs Strong understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA privacy rules and long-term care regulations Excellent managerial communication skills; ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively while maintaining high standards of patient care Join us as a Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead compassionate nursing teams dedicated to delivering outstanding patient-centered care. $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
