RN Unit Manager Hillcrest Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center - Lower Burrell, PA Hillcrest Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our nursing leadership team. If you are a strong clinical leader who enjoys supporting staff, coordinating resident care, and maintaining high standards of quality, we would love to meet you. Responsibilities Oversee the daily nursing operations of the assigned unit Supervise, support, and provide direction to nursing staff Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate clinical follow-up Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers Maintain compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations Provide education, coaching, and guidance to nursing staff Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team Work closely with the Director of Nursing and nursing leadership to ensure smooth unit operations Assist with maintaining appropriate staffing and coverage for the unit Participate in the facility's on-call rotation as required Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff while on call and assist with resolving staffing or resident-care concerns as needed Qualifications Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing - required Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred Previous supervisory or management experience preferred Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to effectively lead and support a nursing team Availability to participate in the on-call rotation Why Join Hillcrest?
