This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with experience in Nurse Management, Unit Management, Charge Nurse, Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, or Post-Acute Care . •62 per hour Monday-Friday schedule No weekends Day shift: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM 40 guaranteed hours per week Short-term 5-week contract ASAP start available Leadership and management experience Opportunity to work in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment RN Unit Manager Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse Unit Manager, you will: Oversee daily nursing operations and resident care. Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff. Coordinate daily staffing assignments and maintain appropriate unit coverage. Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate clinical interventions. Review nursing documentation and maintain accurate patient records. Participate in resident assessments and care planning. Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, therapy teams, residents, and families. Ensure medications, treatments, and physician orders are completed appropriately. Support compliance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements. Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Support infection prevention and patient safety practices. Provide clinical guidance, leadership, and mentorship to nursing staff. Address resident and family concerns professionally. Assist with audits, surveys, incident reports, and regulatory requirements. Promote a positive, respectful, and patient-centered care environment.
