The mission of Stellar Career College is to provide consistent high-quality instruction and motivation in a positive learning environment. The welfare and education of students and employees at our technical school is our primary focus. Together, we work toward building skilled individuals and a successful trade school to serve the needs of the community.
ACCREDITATION AND LICENSE
Stellar Career College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). The College is in the process of hiring a Nursing Clinical Director / Coordinator. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of related experience.
Clinical Rotation/ Externship Responsibilities:
Work closely with the President to develop affiliation agreements between the Stellar Career College and Healthcare facilities. Work closely with the College President to ensure all clinical rotation activities are well coordinated Build and strengthen relationships in the community and surrounding areas. Fostering relationships with employers in the community to provide students with opportunities to develop professional skills, integrate academic learning from work, and find employment.
General Administrative Responsibilities:
- Responds to and seeks resolution of complaints arising from program activities.
- Supports a climate that promotes innovation and improved service to students and the community.
- Cooperates with program staff and other managers to develop processes that are student friendly and supportive of student success.
- Manages and participates in the continued evaluation and improvement of all operational and educational services.
- Employs appropriate techniques and strategies to resolve disputes between the students, instructors and administration.
- Assists in accreditation process.
- Interpret and analyze appropriate laws, policies, rules and procedures to determine impact on student success and student retention.
- Provides internal administrative and organizational support for President's office.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the
President Requirements:
- Outgoing, goal-driven, and highly ethical individual with strong motivational and leadership skills.
- Telephone appointment setting, interviewing, closing, and follow-up skills.
- Effective communication, customer service and motivational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions based on general guidelines.
