Job Description
Position Overview The RN Clinical Supervisor is responsible for supporting clinical operations and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and company policies and procedures. This role partners closely with clinical leadership to oversee patient care services, support field staff, maintain clinical quality standards, and help ensure the nursing department operates efficiently and effectively. This position plays a key role in promoting quality patient outcomes while supporting the organization's mission, values, and philosophy of care. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee direct and indirect patient care services provided by clinical staff Assist with physician order tracking and logging processes Support prior authorization workflows, including increases and mock applications Supervise, mentor, and provide ongoing education to field nurses, case managers, and home health aides Conduct chart audits and clinical record reviews to ensure compliance and quality standards Assist with day-to-day operations of the nursing department Collaborate with other agencies regarding patient plans of care Complete documentation and physician orders related to changes in patient care Provide nursing services as needed Assist with clinical scheduling and staffing coordination Monitor clinical compliance and regulatory adherence Maintain clinical records and documentation Support additional clinical and operational duties as assigned Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program Minimum of two (2) years of leadership or management experience in home health or a related healthcare setting preferred Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to supervise and support clinical personnel effectively Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Knowledge of healthcare operations, compliance standards, and government regulations Ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, referral partners, and team members What We Offer Competitive compensation Medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) program Supportive leadership and collaborative culture Career growth and development opportunities The opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and families
