Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring a RN Supervisor to join the leadership team in the Operating Room (OR).

Rotating Schedule Job Description:
The Supervisor, Nursing and Patient Care Services in a hospital setting plays a key leadership role in the nursing department, supporting the manager in overseeing all patient care activity on their assigned nursing unit(s). They are responsible for ensuring high standards of care, coordinating daily nursing activities, and facilitating communication between medical teams. Assists with the training, mentoring, and performance evaluations of clinical staff. They also manage patient care assignments, help resolve patient and family concerns, and ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and safety regulations. Additionally, they assist in staffing decisions, maintain inventory for medical supplies, and ensure that the unit is properly equipped to provide quality care.
Education:
BSN required
Certification:
Virginia or compact multistate RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in the OR required 1 yr Leadership experience in the OR required

The base pay range for full-time employment is $104,416.00 - $154,356.80 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
Note:
If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
