Job Description
Summary Barry University School of Nursing BSN Program is currently seeking applicants for part-time clinical supervisor positions to teach undergraduate nursing students in a clinical setting or in our Simulation Learning Center on the main campus. Applicants must have current clinical expertise in one or more of the following nursing specialties: Med Surg; Obstetrics; Pediatrics; Behavioral Health; High Acuity; Foundations; and Community. All applicants must have a minimum of an MSN Degree in Nursing and an active, unencumbered RN or APRN license in the State of Florida. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is a high-quality program that prepares individuals to be responsible and respected nursing professionals. This position is Hybrid (In-Person/Remote) Essential Functions Responsibilities include supervision of a group of undergraduate nursing students (8-10) in a clinical or Simulation Learning Center setting. Collaboration with Clinical Course Coordinator regarding lecture content, required clinical documentation, course goals and outcomes, and skills set to be achieved. Midterm and final evaluation of students' progress in the clinical setting. Qualifications/Requirements MSN degree required. Active, unencumbered Florida RN or APRN License Solid clinical background in one or more of the following clinical specialties: Med Surg; Obstetrics; Pediatrics; Behavioral Health; High Acuity; Foundations, and Community. Previous clinical teaching experience preferred
