RN Unit Manager:
Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit. Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning. Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with appropriate follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing. Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing. Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs. Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit. Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement. Qualifications for andRN Unit Manager:
Must possess a current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of RI. Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required. A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required. Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting required.
