What We Offer:
Join the Coastal Carolina Hospital ED team as a Charge RN! Relocation assistance may be available.

Shift:
Full Time Nights Status:
Full Time Our Emergency Department is a 16-bed unit that specializes in providing immediate medical care for patients with severe or urgent illnesses or injuries. It is equipped to handle a wide range of services, including initial assessment, treatment, stabilization, emergencies, from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions and potentially admission to the hospital. Our preferred patient ratio is 4:1.
What We're Looking For:
Education :
High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year/Associate Degree, preferred. 4 Year/Bachelors Degree, preferred.
Experience :
One year of Clinical Experience, required.
Licensure/Certification:
Current unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina, required. Current BCLS and ACLS certifications; PALS is recommended, required. Current PALS, required. Advanced certification in specialty field and/or participation in professional organization(s), required.
What You'll Do:
Coordinate shift assignments by matching patient acuity levels with the specific skills and experience of available nursing staff. Supervise and mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, providing Real Time clinical guidance and support for complex procedures. Oversee patient care plans, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure treatment goals are met. Serve as a clinical resource for the team, stepping in to assist with high-risk patients or emergency "Code" situations. Address patient/family concerns immediately, acting as the first point of contact for grievances or care quality issues.
