Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the Cardiac Stepdown Unit, ensuring efficient patient flow and high standards of care. Supervise and mentor nursing staff, promoting professional development and adherence to health system policies. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans that are effective and compliant with the latest health guidelines. Monitor patient care for quality and adherence to treatment protocols, intervening when necessary to adjust treatment strategies. Participate in the development of unit policies and procedures, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and enhance patient care. Handle administrative duties, including staff scheduling, budget management, and clinical audits. Advocate for patient safety and a supportive, therapeutic environment at all times.
