Job Description

As an ER Clinical Nurse Coordinator at TriStar Health, you will provide clinical leadership on fast-paced emergency department shifts, coordinating patient flow, triage, and evidence-based care. You'll serve as a resource for ER nurses, support complex assessments and interventions, and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, timely treatment. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, monitoring quality and safety metrics, supporting policy compliance, and contributing to performance improvement, all within TriStar's patient-first, compassionate, and learning-focused culture. Responsibilities Coordinate daily ER clinical operations and patient flow for assigned shifts Provide advanced triage, assessment, and emergency nursing interventions Serve as clinical resource and charge nurse for ER staff Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams on care plans Monitor adherence to safety, infection control, and quality standards Support and mentor nurses through coaching and skill development Assist with staffing coordination and escalation of operational issues Participate in performance improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives Document care accurately in the EHR and support regulatory compliance Promote Tri Star Health's patient-first, compassionate culture in the ER Required Skills Emergency nursing Triage assessment ED patient flow management Clinical leadership Electronic Health Records (EHR) IV therapy and medication administration Critical care skills Care coordination Quality and safety protocols Emergency response procedures
