We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Clinical Supervisor RN to serve as an on-site clinical leader and primary point of coordination for nursing and support staff. This is a working clinical role with added responsibility for guiding staff workflow, supporting performance feedback, and ensuring smooth daily operations in partnership with physician leadership. A working RN role with meaningful clinical and staff leadership responsibilities Modern outpatient environment: Brand new, efficient IR center designed for streamlined patient care Specialized procedures: Body and neuro interventions in a comfortable outpatient setting Collaborative culture: Close-knit team where communication and support are essential to daily success What You'll Do Clinical Care & Procedural Support Provide direct care in an interventional radiology outpatient setting Deliver and monitor moderate sedation under physician direction Prepare patients and procedure rooms with precision and care Perform pre- and post-procedure assessments, monitoring, and education Administer medications and manage sedation safely in accordance with protocols Assist with IV access, patient positioning, and recovery care Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards Clinical Supervision & Staff Leadership Provide real-time guidance and support to: Medical Assistants, Front Desk staff, Additional nursing staff Assign and coordinate daily tasks to support efficient patient flow Act as the primary clinical resource for workflow questions and escalation needs Provide ongoing feedback to staff regarding performance, workflow, and patient care standards Participate in staff performance discussions and provide input for evaluations and development Work in close collaboration with neuro and peripheral directors to ensure seamless coordination of procedural planning, workflow efficiency, and patient care delivery Partner with administrative leadership to support scheduling efficiency, staffing needs, and overall clinic operations Workflow & Team Coordination Help ensure smooth patient flow from intake through discharge Coordinate with front office staff to maintain scheduling efficiency and patient readiness Support room turnover and procedural pacing throughout the day Collaborate with physicians and radiology technologists to optimize case flow Assist in identifying and resolving workflow bottlenecks in real time Quality, Safety, & Team Communication Uphold sedation safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards Reinforce best practices across clinical and support staff Participate in quality improvement and workflow optimization initiatives Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-centered environment What You Bring An active RN license in Tennessee (BSN preferred) 3+ years experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab (Neuro IR a plus) Strong clinical judgment and knowledge of medications and sedation Skilled in IV access and patient monitoring Experience working in or leading teams in procedural settings preferred Strong communication and ability to support and guide staff in real time Benefits & Perks Paid Time Off + Paid Holidays Floating Birthday Holiday Comprehensive Benefits including Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance 401(k) with company match
