Within the surgery service line, the Nurse Manager of Operating Room will guide a modern operating room across inpatient surgery and the broader surgical services continuum, with exposure to complex cases and high-acuity specialties. Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, the Nurse Manager of Operating Room partners closely with the CNO, anesthesia leadership, surgeons, sterile processing, pre-op, and PACU to drive safe throughput, fair block utilization, surgeon satisfaction, and zero-harm performance. As a Manager of Surgery, responsibilities include day-to-day OR operations, staff coaching, hiring and retention, clinical education, competency validation, budget stewardship, supply and implant oversight, vendor management, alignment with

AORN/AAMI
standards, accreditation readiness, infection prevention, and peri-operative quality improvement. With friendly nurses, collaborative surgical technologists, and a diverse interdisciplinary team that takes pride in excellence and teamwork.
