Job description: The Meridian Galveston - Nursing Home Facility Apply today and become an essential part of the Meridian Care family. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Supervisor to oversee clinical operations and patient care during the weekend shift, Saturday and Sunday from 6am to 10pm. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive nursing experience, and working knowledge of Point Click Care (PCC). Responsibilities Supervise nursing staff and coordinate daily clinical activities to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care. Ensure the facility meets the minimum staffing levels for nurses and CNAs, and complete required posting of nursing staff data as required. Oversee patient assessments, vital signs, and physical examinations, ensuring accurate documentation in EMR/EHR systems such as Point Click Care. Audit nursing documentation in the clinical record for appropriate and relevant entries. Ensure all residents' rooms, common areas, treatment areas and nurse stations are maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner. Verify resident census accuracy and report new admissions, discharges, leaves of absence and bed holds per facility policy. Assist with safe and orderly resident transfers and discharges in accordance with facility policies. Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc. as necessary. Provide licensed nursing care to residents that is consistent with the written plans of care. Ensure all residents are treated with dignity, respect, and consideration with the resident's mental health and physical status upon admission to the facility and rights to exercise their choice of self-determination. Requirements Graduation from an accredited Nursing School Valid Registered Nurse (RN)
