Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ADON-Registered Nurse to join our brand new psychiatric facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various nursing environments, including assisted living, nursing homes, Psychiatric care, and acute care. This role requires excellent clinical skills, a deep understanding of patient care protocols, and the ability to manage and supervise nursing staff effectively. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for developing care plans, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and maintaining accurate medical records. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with established protocols and standards. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans. Supervise nursing staff and assist in training new team members. Ensure proper documentation of patient information in EMR/EHR systems. Review medical records for accuracy and completeness. Manage shift operations effectively to ensure optimal patient care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and Medicare regulations. Uphold compliance with HIPAA standards to protect patient confidentiality. Experience Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, home health, hospice care, or acute care environments is preferred. Previous management or supervisory experience in a nursing capacity is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide nursing staff. Proficient knowledge of documentation review processes and care plan development. Experience with EMR/EHR systems is essential for effective record keeping.
