Job Description
POSITION
SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIESServes as a shift resource to nursing and nursing services support staff. Assists in ensuring compliance with the established policies and procedures of the University Health and Detention Health Care Services. Serves as a designated mentor for the training and development of nursing and support staff, in collaboration with the Supervisor and Department Educator. Under the supervision of the RN Clinic Supervisor and Clinical Nursing Director, working collaboratively with all healthcare providers and non-healthcare provider staff. Also receives clinical supervision from staff RNs. Supports and adheres to University Health (UH) and Detention Health Care Services (DHCS) policies and procedures. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with UH mission, vision and values.
