Job Description
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing assists in supervising of nursing services and sets the standards of care to assure a professional, skilled program of care and treatment so that each resident will receive benefit that accounts for their medical. physical, emotional and psychological needs. Fulfills policies and objectives insuring quality nursing care as set forth by the Administrator and standards of the facility. Supports and practices the philosophy, objectives and standards of Priority Management Group and the Nursing department, and directs the revision of these as necessary to ensure quality of care to all residents. Registered nurse that is licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners in the State of Texas. Completion of the daily list to ensure policy and procedures are being followed on a daily basis for the unit they supervise. Assure attending physicians are given support by nursing personnel.
