Table:
Precept new nurses and techs during complex CABG or TAVR cases right at the operating table. Lead the
Floor:
Manage 14+ FTEs, boost morale, and drive clinical excellence.
Fix Workflows:
Troubleshoot missing trays, manage perfusion supplies, and improve room turnover times.
Scrub In:
Be visibly present. Step into active cases to provide breaks or stabilize the room during emergencies. Bridge the
Gap:
Act as the vital link between CVOR staff and surgical administrators.
Must-Have Qualifications Clinical Skills:
5+ years of hands-on experience scrubbing or circulating complex CVOR cases.
Leadership:
3+ years in a working OR leadership role (Charge, Supervisor, or Manager).
Education:
BSN required (or Bachelor's degree if applying as a CST). MSN preferred.
License:
Active Virginia or Compact State RN License.
Certs:
Active
BLS & ACLS.
