Inova Health - Gastroenterology is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Clinic RN Manager to join the team. This role will be full time day shift from Monday - Friday. Oversees assigned area to ensure it is performing effectively, which may include but not limited to, hiring and training team members, creating and implementing business strategies, managing performance of team members, and delegating tasks. Ensures compliance with quality, safety, regulatory requirements and the Joint Commission standards. Serves as a primary liaison and information resource for the clinic while overseeing the provision of therapeutic care in a holistic and evidence-based environment which produces excellent patient care with optimal patient outcomes. Utilizes the quality process and best practices to improve the clinical operations of the clinic. Continuously seeks ways to improve by ensuring implementation of evidence-based practices such as, but not limited to, discharge phone calls, leadership rounding (i.e. patients, physicians and internal customers), AIDET and HML conversationsMinimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)Licensure:
Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as aRegistered Nurse Experience :
Two years of clinical experienceCertification:
BLS from the American Heart Association. ACLS from the American Heart Association.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous leadership experience (team lead, charge nurse, supervisory, management, etc)Benefits
