Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated RN Weekend Supervisor to lead nursing teams across multiple shifts—7 AM to 3 PM, 3 PM to 11 PM, and 11 PM to 7 AM. This vital role ensures the delivery of exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. As a Weekend Supervisor, you will oversee clinical operations, coordinate patient assessments, and support staff development in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Your leadership will foster a positive, collaborative atmosphere that promotes safety, efficiency, and high-quality care for diverse patient populations including geriatrics, behavioral health, and acute care cases. Duties Supervise nursing staff during weekend shifts, providing guidance on patient care, documentation, and clinical procedures Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation using EMR system PCC Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols to protect patient confidentiality and safety Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for discharge planning, medication administration, and diagnostic evaluations Manage emergency situations including airway management, ventilator use, and acute pain management with confidence and professionalism Conduct staff evaluations, facilitate team meetings, and support ongoing training in areas such as IV infusion, catheter care, and sterile processing Oversee compliance with state and federal healthcare standards including NCQA standards and DME regulations Skills Extensive experience with PCC Strong background in long term care or skilled nursing facility Proficiency in nursing procedures such as IV insertion, phlebotomy, medication administration (including CPT coding), and medical documentation Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, diagnostic evaluation techniques including sonography or spinal tap procedures Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in nursing management or team coordination roles Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities across diverse settings such as assisted living or long-term care facilities Familiarity with
ICD-9/10
