For a view into our world, please visit our website at www.birminghamgreen.org Responsibilities/Accountabilities We have an amazing opportunity for a Nurse Manager that can: Assume 24-hour responsibility and accountability for resident care Handle emergency calls as necessary and informs Director of Nursing and Administrator when appropriate Attend daily stand up meetings and reports the status of residents and other related matters as required. Reviews 24-hour report with nurses and supervisors as needed Oversee daily assignments for staff Responsible for interviewing and hiring process of all new candidates Complete other duties as assigned
Experience/Skills/Education Required:
Current unencumbered license to work as an RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Current CPR Certification . Three years experience in long-term care facility, with one-year supervisory experience preferred. Extensive dementia experience. Knowledge and experience related to the physical and emotional needs of the elderly. Knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to Assisted Living. Must be able to safely perform all essential job functions without harm to self or others with or without reasonable accommodations. Must be proficient in MS Office, e-mail and other general computer systems Compensation & Benefits We offer remuneration commensurate with experience.
