Nursing Supervisor RN Hot Job Manassas Health & Rehab Center - MANASSAS, VA 20109 Apply Overview Salary Range $40.00 - $50.81 Hourly Position Type Part Time Job Shift Any Apply Description Nursing Supervisor Manassas Health & Rehab Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our clinical leadership team! As a Nursing Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in supporting our licensed nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and other clinical team members. You will help ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care while promoting teamwork, accountability, professional growth, and positive outcomes for our patients. What You'll Do Clinical Leadership & Team Support Provide leadership, guidance, and clinical support to licensed nurses, CNAs, and other direct care team members. Supervise and direct the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centered patient care. Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff. Promote a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment. Identify and communicate clinical personnel concerns, performance issues, and patient care concerns to the Director of Nursing. Assist with clinical education, disease-specific training, and staff development programs. Participate in clinical rounds and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers. Patient Care & Clinical Oversight Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate appropriate nursing interventions when needed. Monitor and report significant changes in patient conditions to appropriate members of the healthcare team, including physicians, patients, and legal representatives. Review physician orders, diagnostic results, laboratory reports, and pharmacy recommendations and ensure appropriate follow-up. Assist with medication management and communicate with pharmacy regarding medication changes. Participate in admissions, transfers, and discharges. Ensure new admissions are properly coordinated and rooms are prepared prior to the patient's arrival. Assist in developing and updating individualized plans of care. Perform or assist with hands-on clinical care and nursing procedures as needed. Quality, Compliance & Patient Safety Conduct routine chart audits to ensure documentation is accurate, complete, timely, and compliant with applicable standards. Support the center's Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives. Investigate and follow up on patient, family, and staff concerns in a timely and professional manner. Complete accident and incident reports and ensure appropriate follow-up occurs. Maintain open communication with nursing leadership regarding patient care trends, employee practice concerns, and opportunities for improvement. Participate in committees and other organizational initiatives as assigned. Hands-On Clinical Skills The Nursing Supervisor must be comfortable providing direct patient care and performing nursing procedures when needed, including: Medication administration Patient assessments and clinical interventions IV therapy Phlebotomy Central line management Wound care Catheter insertion and care Tracheostomy, colostomy, and ileostomy care Enteral feeding and feeding tube management Other skilled nursing procedures within the scope of licensure What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a confident and compassionate nursing professional who can balance clinical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills.
