OB/GYN:
A thriving, physician-owned OB/GYN practice in Virginia Beach is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as a Nurse Supervisor. This is a hands-on clinical and supervisory role with strong growth potential.
What You'll Do:
Working closely with the Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, Administrator, and physicians, you will help coordinate and strengthen daily nursing operations across multiple departments, including: Support daily staffing coverage and clinical flow across the practice. Assist with interviewing, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance support for clinical staff. Partner on quality, safety, and compliance initiatives (OSHA, CLIA, and other applicable standards). Help maintain clinical protocols and documentation standards. Serve as a go-to problem solver for clinical staff and patient-care workflow issues. Support equipment readiness and coordination of repairs/maintenance as needed. Reinforce adherence to practice standards and accreditation/quality expectations (as applicable).
What We're Looking For:
Active RN license (Virginia or eligible) and current CPR certification. Significant OB/GYN nursing experience, including both outpatient clinic and inpatient/L&D or hospital-based experience. Prior leadership experience preferred (charge, preceptor, lead RN, supervisor, or similar). Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to lead with a calm, solutions-oriented approach. Organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment. Collaborative communicator who can build trust with physicians, clinical staff, and patients.
